Multiple Sclerosis Support Group
The UCSF Art of Living Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group meets once a month to provide a supportive environment for patients and their loved ones to discuss ideas on enhancing daily life. The group was started by Dr. Elizabeth Crabtree-Hartman and is facilitated by Dr. Riley Bove. Light refreshments are provided, parking is free, and no reservation is necessary. Partners, family members and friends are welcome to attend.
The group offers opportunities to hear guest speakers from a variety of disciplines on topics related to MS, as well as to share information, receive and offer support, and discuss relevant issues. Goals for participants include learning new strategies, feeling empowered to cope with challenges and feeling connected to a community.
